I was raised to be considerate towards the environment and to take care when using precious resources.

All our resources needs protection these days, but those I feel strongly about are our ozone layer, our evergreen forests, trees and entire ecosystems and the most important of all - our water.

We went on a hiking trip a few weekends back, and did not pack enough water to last us a whole day. It is then that I pictured our entire human race, without water. No more running water when you open the tap, no more long bubble baths or dips in the swimming pool and nothing to mix my Oros with or the ice cold glass when you came from the gym.

This is a wake-up call. Stop wasting resources and do your part to make a difference. When our children look back and ask "What were they thinking" we will no longer have to opportunity to change our actions and the consequences.

My grootouers is die voorbeeld van 'n liefdevolle verhouding met wedersydse respek, iets waarna ek ook wil streef. Ek hoop om ook na 30/40/50 jaar se getroude lewe steeds elke dag van my man te hoor hoe lief hy my het, en om my liefde met hom te kan deel.


Ek het om hierdie rede besluit om spesiale oomblikke van hulle op kamera vas te le, en hulle was net so opgewonde, want hul was nog nooit deel van 'n 'shoot' nie.


Op die einde van die dag, bly jou gesin die mense met wie jy elke goeie oomblik en enige teleurstellings kan deel, en hulle sal jou altyd verseker dat op die ou einde beter sal wees.

This is officially my first blog entry, and I am very excited.


I decided that 2011 was going to be a year of new things. New ideas, new hobbies and lots of new clothes.


I recently saved up an bought my very own professional camera :) and I cannot seem to put it down.


The various beautiful (by my standards) photos I have taken was the inspiration for this blog, because life is beautiful, and I want to share some of the beauty with everyone.
